Ocean Waves , instructions are on the site.
Grandmother's Choice is such an interesting place to read of things past.

From Craftsy where many good things come. Scallops are something I have not done. But they do look very nice don't you think?

Block of the day

Download now as a pdf pattern

Kind of a puny little basket wouldn't you say but this is the block of the day thanks to Quilt Pro.

As for my day , it was an awful day. I was so tired that I never even got dressed. I did finish reading my book though. It was a great read. Now I need to get started on another one.

We had spaghetti and sauce again for dinner and it was still delicious. I think Ray should bottle that stuff.

Adam and I spent a lot of time on the phone as he and I are making up a draft of an updated  will . He also suggested tha we consider a medical will that allows one of us topull the plug if all has gone from bad to worse. That makes me think of my dear friend Donna who is suffering from dementia and knows no one in her family. It is so sad.
I had a letter from my old school friend in Sequim , it was great to hear from her and then I had a letter from another old friend whom I have know since the early 60s. Funny this has been a time for old friends. I love to hear from them.
Nostalgia over LOL.
Picture time.
Pumpkin Pie. mmmm These guys have the right idea.

My friend David in Arizona sent this gorgeous picture of  California Poppies. A field of poppies, how beautiful.

Lovely quilt of baskets of flowers.
I like the setting.

The Itch To Stitch , Ballerina will be out soon for you to enjoy, she is a cutie.

A blast  from the past, I do like these black and white old photos. This one looks like Kansas. It reminds me of The Wizard of Oz.

Funny isn't it?

Time for me to go folks.
Have a lovely evening.
Good night.
