Swamp Angel Quilt Block Pattern
Pattern is from About Quilting. It is a nice easy one. Isn't it pretty?
I am sitting here in pain as my ankle continues to swell. And of course to cause me pain. Why did I get a swollen ankle. You won't believe this one. I cooked.
I cleaned out the Baby Bak Choy , cut up the celery and onions , added the garlic along with my seasoned salt , put in the bean sprouts , all in a deep frying pan. Then continued to stand and stir the mixture so it would all get cooked not just the bits on the bottom. Then I cooked corn on the cob so we had an all vegetable dinner and it was great!
After we ate I cleaned up the dishes and the counters in the kitchen.
The floor is ceramic tile and that is why I think it was hard on my ankle. The next news is: Maybe I should not cook any more LOL.
We did not go out today as the cleaning lady was here and Ricky, our grandson and Richard's son came by for a visit. We had a great visit , I made him two sandwiches and one for Ray and me. More time on my feet in the kitchen Haha!
I was kind of tired and had a short nap , then Richard called and we had a long talk. It was a good visit too. He will be here soon . Adam , Aaron and Adam will be coming in on Friday/Saturday at midnight. Aaron will be renting a car at the airport . I am not sure where they will go from there but I expect it will be Sam's. We are going to have some great company this coming week and I am so happy about that.
My grandson Aaron's dog ran away today but June his girlfriend found her and brought her back.
There isn't this a lovely reunion? Holly back at home with the man she loves Haha.
How is this for a wall hanging? This quilt was made by Jean Rae Laury a noted quilter who passed away 2 years ago. This is a fun quilt LOL.

Apparently Jean Rae Laury loved Sunbonnet Sue and made a number of quilts of her. This one is SBS flying amidst the bits and pieces of floating fabric LOL. She had a good sense of humour !!

Wonder what these quilt pictures are made of . It is amazing but all the pictures of quilts are made of bottle tops. People are so creative!
