Happy birthday Adam

http://buzzingandbumbling.blogspot.com/2011/04/making-faces-tutorial.html
A tutorial on how to make faces particularly the eyes. If you are into face /people quilts this is a good lesson on howto.

Great wallet for quilters/sewers to make.

Some Blocks of the Month  for you to look at.

Lovely yellow and green quilt featuring the binding. It is so springlike and lovely.

Today was a good day. It is my eldest son's birthday and  I sang him the HB song LOL or part of it over the phone since he lives in the deep south of the USA.

We had lunch with Bob and Buzz, discussed Bob's taking Ray to the hospital this month for the  procedure  on his back to help him with the Spinal Stenosis. Bob will take us both there and we will wait until Ray is ready to come home.
Ray wanted to go to Ford to ask about his warranty on the car and he also needed gas. The gas is so high these days and oil is down in price. How does that work?
He dropped me off at home, I started the laundry and sat down to sew on the guild blocks for next Wednesday. I got two of them done and only two more to go. I know I'll get them done LOL. Sometimes there is doubt haha.
Todays offerings.

Marg came over for a  visit, no books this time LOL. While she was here I completed knitting another dish cloth.

When the visit was over I gathered  up all the stuff I needed for income tax returns as we are going to the accountant's tomorrow.

And I printed off a pattern on my printer from my laptop to the bedroom where the printer is holed up !! Well I heard it but have not gone to actually look at it so I hope it did print out what I wanted. You can never tell with printers.
Well you can tell- it printed off 6 copies of the same thing haha.

I like it but it probably won't get on my hit list since I have not crocheted for years. Not that it is that hard but I have other thing I want to do instead, It is pretty though and would suit a person from Kansas LOL.
That was my day but I feel that it was productive.
Picture time. Let's see what is new.
This was taken a few days ago while Jim was relaxing with his cold Haha. We found the stitches of the zipper on the pillow had come undone. We'll take it back to the store.

I know a lot of internet friends who subscribe to this theory LOL. The ones out east and beyond the mountains. Calgary where Richard and Ricky live is covered in snow.

Download now as a pdf pattern

Barrister's Block, can you see how this block was named? It made me laugh when I saw it. Lawyers on opposing sides LOL.  The colours are pretty too.

And these are just  too sweet I think. Adorable.
another crocheted afghan.

Now this is a beautiful blue frog but deadly, full of poisonous toxins. Do Not Touch. Or eat LOL. Nature's most deadly creatures are also the most beautiful. Snakes are one example of this . Take this one from Central Florida
Eastern Coral Snake- small but very venomous.

Big and little, small puppy and a huge mommy. The puppy is so cute.

Remember that we turn the clock ahead on Sunday or is it Saturday night. Why is it so early  I wonder.

Time to go .
Have a good evening folks.
Good night.
