In this Singer site there are several nice projects. Check them out. I checked out the yellow and blue table runner . The instructions were very good.

Can you see this as a Chestnut tree which is what the block is called. You can add this to your tree collection.

Tonight I am going out with Kathy to embroidery club. However I do not care for the project so I don't plan to do it. I am considering not continuing with this club. It is a lot of work to get everything ready and to get my machine ready to go. I am getting lazy I guess. Or my mind is preoccupied with other things.  Tonight I will just chat and watch the others work. My machine is very slow compared to the other ladies so I seldom get my project finished. But I hear other ladies complain that they don't get their projects finished at a class . I think that may be the norm rather than the exception. As usual our expectations are way too high.

Ray and I did not go out until after noon . I was still feeling down in the dumps but I said to myself, " I need to get out so that my mind is swept clean. Rain and wind will do that LOL. And it is right, I do feel a lot better now. Moving around is the best thing for the mind.   Exercise aids the emotions and helps the brain to function better. Not just my humble opinion but the thoughts of others more clever than me. Even if you just get out and move around helps your mood. A great and simple method of staying in good mental health. Not to say you can never feel down, you can , but staying down is not a good thing. Enough of my lecturing , an occupational hazard for a teacher retired or not. LOL

Tonight Kathy and I went to embroidery class. I didn't take my machine as I wasn't up to getting all the stuff together but I watched and listened and know it can be  done at home. We were to use a special batting called batilizer. It is a combination of batting and stabilizer. The experts swear by it. Kathy bought some and she gave me enough to do one of the place mats. As usual Kathy is kind and generous. Thank you my friend once again. I am going to try it out and see how well it works for me. It should be great as you only need one piece instead of two to do the job. I know I'll like that.

Neat little tree house made from a tree trunk. Trees are on my mind tonight LOL. I love trees and am so happy there are many around us.

Sister Star from Susan's blog. I like this one and it can be done in @ 1/2" squares and 2 7/8 " squares for the half square triangles. Trim them down if they are too big. Better that than too small. LOL.
A very rare bird - a piebald Anna's hummingbird has landed in North Saanich on Vancouver Island. Piebald is a term for a similarity to albinism where the genetic mutation causes the colour to not  be deposited on the feathers leaving a piebald effect. It is so rare that most people have not seen one ever.

And that's the last word LOL.
Have a lovely evening folks.
Good night.
