This is a new block to me , all rectangles and squares. Pretty colours on white.
If you are interested in the history of quilting the have a look at this site You will see that there is a great difference in the way patterns are designed and templates are made.

Tuesday , my sewing day started with Pat and I going to Starbucks for coffee and a good chat about what we did during the week.Pat did her quilting but I had not done any sewing at all.  She is making baby quilts for an upcoming great grandchild. I don't know whne the baby is due to arrive. We chatted about our guilds. Pat's guild is moving to a new facility with lots of room. I remember when that guild was not open for any new members as their space was too small. That changed  but they still have a waiting list.

We then went on to the church where we did our usual stuff anf I forgot to take my camera so no pictures. Next week! I just appliqued another heart on a six inch square. This time it will be red hearts. I did make a quilt several years ago with red hearts. I think it would be nearly a decade ago.
There you go , I found it and in short order too. I made this one for Eva in Quebec.

It was fun . Betty Lu whose Balitmore Album I showed here not too long ago and that she had given to her friend in Virginia and which her friend entered in a Quilt Show in Virginia  WON Best of Show. A big congratulations Betty Lu.
Betty Lu is working on another Baltimore Album for herself. Waht an amazing quilter. All her quilts are hand quilted.
I had intended to go on to Community Quilts/Pumpkin Seeds but became way too tired so I came home with Pat and had a nice nap which kind of refreshed me. I hope I can handle a full day next week.
I had my nap and then Ray wanted to go to Safeway for some prescriptions. He likes me to come with him so I went but we weren't there long. I bought a book that looks interesting The Kitchen House by Kathleen Grisson. When we got home I finally opened my laptop for the first time today.
Ray had picked me up some chicken wings at Safeway ,  he had  a lettuce Sandwich. It always make me wonder but he loves a lettuce sandwich. I put that up on Facebook and he got 4 likes already LOL. He is such a source of fun to me. I love him!

Crocus. These pieced flowers and  plants look strange to me . I much prefer appliqued ones. But here it is if you like it.
I love this little guy . Reminds me of when my little guys would put on my shoes and walk around the house in them. They were so cute.

Love comes in all kinds of situations. Sweet aren't they.

Time to go folks.
Have a lovely evening.
Good night!
