Tuesday off

Tuesday today and I did not go to my sewing groups. That makes 3 weeks in a row. The past two weeks were busy with family. This week I had no drivers so could not go.. Next week I am excited to be going. Pat will be available to take me. Thank goodness for friends. I am fortunate to have such good ones.

So Ray and I went out, now what is new about that I ask you LOL.
Remember I bought the two nightgowns and they were tight in the arm area. WE took them back to Sears. I ran into a lady I know from across the street. It was Val, Marg. She asked about  you. We had a short conversation in which she mentioned that the Ladies of Compass Point ( good title for a book) did not gotten  together recently. I guess that will happen soon from the trend of the conversation. It was nice to talk to her,

We walked over to Ronsons at the further end of the mall to check out the shoes. No luck there.  Then we had to get back to the car at the other end of the mall. It was a long way for me and I was so tired of walking by then.

We went over to Pennington's to look for two more nightgowns  to replace the ones I returned to Sears. I bought two that fit but have to say I didn't like them much.  I mentioned tot he clerk that i dodn't like theri spring merchandise much. Surprise flashed across her face and she said everyone was saying they loved the new products. Strange isn't it how I can be so out of step with the rest of the world LOL, not that I buy any clothes there just night gowns and underwear.
Yesterday I didn't go out and the cherry blossom trees burst into blooms while I was stying in. How glorious they are!!

The streets are lined with these beautiful trees , they make me wax poetic and fill me with happiness.

In the schoolyard.

We came home and I had to give my feet a rest so I lay down and read/finished my JA Jance novel  Fatal Error. This one features Ali
Reynolds as the detective and solver of puzzles. Have you read this one Marg, if not it is yours.

Amish square in a square. Why Amish?
I think it is because  the fabrics are all solids. Amish used to think patterned fabrics were not of their faith and were frivolous. The colours were dark and deep and the design patterns were simple such as this square in a square. The Amish call themselves the Plain people. It is  an interesting culture. There are many articles on the internet that inform on the Amish.

Is this modern or ancient. It has the appearance of an antique and the bags are different from the ones I have seen today but then things can be set up to look however one wants.

Ricky looking good and wandering around Las Vegas. I like this picture.

I like this dog so may have put it up before.  Sorry if I repeat myself LOL. Mmm that doesn't look too sorry does it?

That's all from me for the night folks.
Have a lovely evening.

Good night.
