Beautiful day

A very lovely day in the sunshine on one of Vancouver's finest days. We spent part of the day with Ray's niece and husband  who had spent the night at our place. We took them back to their hotel in Surrey this morning. it was a fairly long drive to get there. We had a nice evening with them.
Brian and Brenda in front of their hotel with beautiful Rhodos in the background.

Brian and Ray, same place. No pictures of me because Brenda took them on her camera.LOL.
Brenda still in front of the hotel , different perspective.

Earlier in the morning Ray had to go to the doctor. His potassium was out of whack and the doctor was not happy with that . So he has to go back on the severe diet that will help control his potassium. Not an easy thing to do but we will have to organize his food intake. He finds it so hard to regulate his food. He said He wishes he was like me as I have had none of the same issues he has. Mine aren't food related. It is not an easy task to eat all the right foods as there are really so few that work for him. But he'll have to get used to it.  He has had a very bad headache this afternoon.
On the way back from Surrey we stopped off at the pharmacy to pick up the prescriptions. I thought the doctor had made a mistake on one of them but when I called I was told that this was what she wanted. So I said if it didn't do the job I would come in again.
When we got home I played around with my e reader and it said the battery was low. So I had Ray find it and put in new ones. He is so good about the mechanics of all my machines but he can't use them. So he fixes and I use. Good combination LOL.
I downloaded another book to read tonight. I have to find the free ones everyone keeps telling me are available. It is all a learning curve.
But my sister does not need a learning curve. She just had great good luck. She won 2900 dollars at the casino today.  Congratulations Marg!
So no sewing happening today despite it being Tuesday.Quel Domage. I hope that is spelled correctly. Hopefully tomorrow will be more productive.
Now I have the headache.Ouch!

I knit! I don't have a cat.

Pretty red and white. It looks like the bib of an apron to me or maybe a tote bag. Whatever it is pretty.

Aha it is part of this delightful schoolhouse block.

Rub a dub dub two
mice in a tub, er teracup, isn't it romantic?

A fitting end to tonight's blog.
Have a lovely evening folks.
Good Night.
