another gorgeous day

http://barij.typepad.com/my_weblog/2013/02/index.html

Here is a tutorial on making a round edge Dresden Plate instead of the easier pointed edge for this design.

Pat Sloan and her new fabrics by Moda.

Many beautiful yellows in this gorgoeus Dresden Plate.

Remember The little purple guy under the moon , well here are his friends They are in one of the recent magazines.

We can all claim to be royalty if this is the criteria. LOL.

Marg on the right and Karin on the left. They took a driving trip along the Oregon coast and were visiting a cheese factory at 10:00 AM. Of course it was mandatory to sample the wares and wine goes with cheese, hence the wine and cheese morning. Looks like a bit of fun!

Ray and I took a ride out to Ladner today . We wanted to see the eagles at the sanctuary but they were not available for viewing. They must have been off hunting for food. But it was a lovely drive along the river and along the farmlands on the other side of the road. Ladnery has some lovely old homes so we were happy to have seen them too.
At the mouth of the Fraser River.

Looking up river.

An old church but in great condition  in Ladner, kind of reminds me of the Eastern townships in the US.
We had lunch at ABC in Ladner. I had the most delicious lunch, home made tomato soup which was the best tomato I ever had and a grilled cheese sandwich, two cheeses inside and not the usual cheddar but a white one and parmesan cheese in butter on the outside where it was grilled.  It was the best grilled cheese I ever had. Great lunch . Ray had a BLT, no spirit of adventure LOL.

Beautiful garden outside the Community Centre here, love these orange tulips. There are so many gorgeous flowers and gardens right now.

It was a wonderful day, another special one. Tomorrow We are going to Langley.

The little King Charles Spaniel is blind and the big dog is his seeing eye dog.  They are wonderful.

Mother love and baby love too.  They are beautiful too.

Time to go folks. Have a lovely evening.
Good night.

Keep your needles sharp LOL.
