I am not sure how much blog I'll get done today as we are haveing company afternoon and evening. So this may be it but I'll try to do a job of it.

Block of the Day  -Flying Album, flying geese in a square. Sounds like dinner .
Download now as a pdf pattern

I prefer  these type of blocks , pieced ones, better than other types of blocks. Although I do like to applique as well.

Richard is off to meet Meaghan, Lewis and Charlotte at the Burnaby  Heritage Park. It is a lovely park with many heritage house and businesses. It is set up like a small town with all heritage buildings , including a bank, a foundry, an old fashioned grocery general store, an ice cream parlour, a carousel ,you get the idea. It is fun to go there. I used to take my classes on a field trip to this park as an interesting learning experience. I hope he manages okay with his wheelchair. I think it might be too challenging for him and for Charlotte unless she has a walker . Rick was very tired this morning and not up to his usual cheerful self.
Hopefully they will all come back afterward for a visit and a bite to eat. I plan to make chili for them. Lewis likes my chili and I am a sucker for anyone who likes my cooking. LOL.
Well that didn't happen as Rick bought KFC. Marg came over and had dinner with us.

We had so much fun with Charlotte, she is highly entertaining.
Here she is with Granpa Rick, look how much she has grown in the past month.
Ah the happy couple. Charlotte came in took one look at Richard and ran right to him. It is such a pleasure to see that.

Kicking  up a storm, Charlotte now does a plie and a jete, here she is practicing her jete LOL. Meg says there is a ballet class for three year olds and she is thinking of entering Charlotte in that class.

On Nicole's Lap, Nicole is Meaghan's long time friend since they were young. She is a lovely young woman.
Looks content doesn't she?

We are now expecting Richard's lady friend Bobbie who is here in Vancouver to see her dad who is in the hospital. He has gone out to pick her up.
It has been a very busy day. Ray is napping in his chair and I am just tired.

Our Sam looking pretty good here.

Hahaha, Does this remind you of anybody:))

Remember this: Eat your veggies and particularly carrots . You need sharp eyes.

So this is it  for tonight.
Have a lovely evening.
                   Good night!
