I love this pattern!

:

Such a lovely mug rug. Cabanas at the beach..... I do love the striped fabric on the binding. I am even contemplating going to Fabricana to see if they have some. Just thinking about it , don't hold me to that. LOL.

Another bit of sewing wisdom.

Our day went well. I had an email from my grandson Sam who is in Calgary today but he said he would see me on Sunday.
Matthew called to say he , Caroline and Ryan would visit on Sunday. It was nice to hear from them both.

We met our friends Bob And Buzz for lunch today and I forgot to take pictures but I can use some earlier ones for the blog.

Guess who?

We had a lovely visit and talked about their month long trip to Hawaii. It was lovely for them and their son, daughter in law and grandchildren.   The children only stayed for two weeks though.

Their next trip is to Reno in August. They are driving down. I'd love to go with them and they would like us to go too. It all depends on Ray. He is not too interested in travelling lately. Maybe I should keep my car LOL. Or take the bus. But I do want to go to Calgary in July when it is Rick's birthday. Peter's birthday is in July as well.

After we split , they had to go home but we stayed in the mall for a bit as we needed to go to the bank and mail my fabric for my Bingo game. So It has finally gone out. Then we bought some bread at the bakery. This bakery in Metrotown has wonderful bread and when we are there we always buy some. And now Ray is making fried egg sandwiches with it. Delicious!
We walked around some for excercise and then to ruin that effort we had a Dairy Queen Banana Split but to make it okay we shared it LOL. It was delicious too.
Then we came home. I was tired and had a nap.
Time to write the blog and find the pictures. That takes quite a bit of time. Finding the pictures takes the most time. I can drivel on with the best of them so the writing is not too onerous.

Isn't this a great old photo of the Railway Station , not sure which station but it is in the Eastern states, where the ladies were waiting for the train to come in. They are all so well dressed and ready to go.

A different kind of colour wheel and a lovely one too. Lots of fabrics to catch the wandering eye. Beautiful!
Did I show this one earlier. It looks like the lunch counter at Woolworth's . My mom used to take me to one of these for a ham salad sandwich once in a while.

Or a darned good husband!! LOL.

Camping time is upon us as these mice know. So take heart and get ready for the summer.

My friend David in Arizona sent this delightful picture of a mother quail and her little ones. He has quail that come to his yard for lunch LOL.

Time to go folks.
Have a great evening.
Good night.
