meetings

Going to a meeting tonight for our complex , the AGM, so will be out late and worse I will miss my guild meeting tonight. That is such a shame as I love going to that meeting. I will get there in June and that will be the last one until September. It is too bad to have a conflict of interest on the same night.

The news of the day..

It was another fun day. I forgot that I had an appointment  with the chiropractor at what I thought was 11:00 only to have him call and say the appointment was at 10:30. It was a bit of a rush to get dressed and out of here but we made it just before 11:00. Dr.Rai was good about it and took me when I got there. I must remember what the time is for my next appointment. I do not usually forget things like that . I write them all in my appointment book. So the trick is..... Look at the darned book!

 

After that it was getting on towards lunch time so we went up to Metrotown to enjoy some Chinese food. Bad news there the Manchu Wok Counter was closed for equipment repairs. Not that I necessarily believe that . It could be the inspectors that closed it until they get htings back in order. I don't know if that is the truth or not , but sometime I am suspicious. The inspectore often go through the restaurants like a cyclone and close down many of them until they pass inspection. Although it was the only counter closed so maybe it was the truth.

 

We walked to Sears , Ray bought a shirt and I bought two shirts. I only wanted one but Ray took another one for me. He likes to pick out my tops. He is so good to me!

 

After shopping we had to go to the bakery for bread and then for gas. By that time it was  it was going home for us.

 

Marg came over for a visit. She and her daughter Karin had been on a trip along the Oregon coast down the Lincoln City. They went to a cheese  factory to see how they made the cheese. Ray , Jim and I went to a cheese factory in Wyoming on one of our trips. It is kind of fun and you can buy fresh cheese at the company store.

 

Marg bought Ray some sugar free saltwater taffy and a pen. And for me she brought some small toiletries and a pen. I think they will be good to use. Thank you Marg for thinking of us on your trip.

 

When Marg left we talked about dinner and Ray said he would make a salad so that was dinner. We often have a salad for dinner. It was good of course.

 

Now we are watching the news until it is time to go to the meeting.
