cute kitty

 http://marciascraftysewing.blogspot.com/2012/02/hodgepodge-patchwork-tuesday-scrappy.html

Choosing thread colours for quilting. Nice.I love these gorgeous pastels.

Do you watch The Big Bang Theory?
Well this makes me think of Soft kitty that Sheldon's mom sings to him when he is sick. However his soft kitty was not in a cup LOL

So adorable.

Block of the day -Sister's Choice   It is a nice block starting with a centre 9 patch and adding half square triangles and squares all round.

Today was the cleaning lady day,Lynn is her name. So I had to stay in. Ray always goes out on her day for some reason. Maybe to get away from two women. LOL.
I lost my internet for some reason and called Shaw for help. Lady there was very good and on this end Lynn helped me with finding the right cords. Blue one, white one and so on. But it got fixed . I was worried that I would not be able to write my blog tonight. Thank goodness for people with smarts.
I did nothing but sit around and mess with my laptop. But to give me a break on that my back was really sore and I could hardly walk without pain. It eased off by late afternoon so I was able to make dinner. I had put some pork ribs , thick country ribs in the slowcooker this morning added the usual garlic and sprinkled them with Hy's seasoned salt. I put an envelope of Chicken stock powder in a cup with water and put that over the ribs while they were cooking . It adds flavour to the stock and tastes very nice whne pured over the ribs as a gravy. I made wild rice in my rice pot and we had radishes and pickled beets for veggies. Crazy isn't it but we like them and they are in fact vegetables.
Dinner was very tasty.
I cooked, Ray is cleaning up. Not that much to do though as I always clean up as I go. Just the slowcooker and the rice pot.
We are talking about getting a smaller slowcooker as this one is quite large and heavy for me to take from the drawer to the counter. And I am finding that I like to cook these days. Whatever has come over me I  wonder. LOL.

Aren't these ladies wonderful . All are playing saxophones from soprano to bass. Have you ever seen a bass sax. It looks pretty heavy to me, you'd need big shoulders to carry that one.

And this sweetheart has a huge following, a block for a quilt I made for one of the great granddaughters. I love this quilt and it is from a book by Eleanor Burns.
And here is the quilt with great granddaughter Hayley Rose in the middle. She lives in Quebec and so does the quilt. All hand appliqued but machine sewn.

Oh so friendly, little fox and big retriever.

Let's not argue Boy! LOL.

While I am not an American I can see the humour in this one but then I like puns, groan.

Time is up folks .
Have a good evening.
Good night!
