cover

http://www.sewdelicious.com.au/2013/01/quilted-sewing-machine-cover-tutorial.html

An easy way to make a cover for your machine. I wish I could get a pattern for my big Janome 6600. If I wasn't so lazy I could maybe make my own pattern.

An east west north south house quilt. It only needs one house and then just repeat it.

My party last night was a treat. My pot luck group celebrated the retirement of one of our members at a Thai restaurant. I have never eaten Thai food but was up for it. And I really enjoyed the dishes that were served. Don't ask what they were as they did not come with information but it was delicious.  Ellen picked me up and and took me to the restaurant. It was a long drive across the city so we had a nice time to visit with each other.  After the restaurant we went to Janet's house for cake and coffee or champaine whichever you wished. I prefer coffee as I am not much of a drinker, but I do eat cake LOL.
We had a great time talking and reminiscing. It all came to an end as those things do and Diane took me home. I am most fortunate with my friends.

Today we took Marg to the Starlight for lunch and gaming as the government calls it. It was to celebrate Marg's birthday. It was what she wanted and she won over a hundred dollars. She is one lucky gambler.
We had a good time together. Ray was the driver LOL.
When we got home I lay down to rest and read my book. Of course I fell asleep.

Now i want to tell you a story of Catherine in Quebec. She is a bit of a scamp. Her mom took her from school to Telebec where her dad and grandma both work.
She went up to the door and set up a place where she could beg for money. She had a flute that she played and a bowl for the money she begged. Remember she is only 5. Her mom was way too embarrassed to get her so her grandma took her to the car and told her that it was not the right thing to do. What a girl!!

Golden Stairs as this block is known. It is a type of block I like. This one is the September 6 block . I am
somewhat behind on my job. I have been so busy lately.

This is a good tutorial on how to use the quilting  ell that comes with your machine.

These big boys are amazing. I have never seen or heard of black wolves . Put three together and they and stunning. I wonder what the white spot on the nose is ... decoration ? But they are beautiful.

Hmm one way to keep your dogs in line .....

Not much time left for this haha.

But it is time for me to go folks.

 Have a great evening.
Good night and it is dark already. Fall is coming.
