Homespun block

Download now as a pdf pattern

Homespun is the name of this block. It is quite busy and includes Flying Geese units and Half  Square Triangles. That will keep you busy.

I have been on the phone for over an hour with my dear stepdaughter Lynn. She had lots to say about the great granddaughters and  her work and other family members. It is great to talk to her.
As for the day it has been okay, still not quite up to scratch but getting better. I hate being sick. Still we did go out for a little bit . I took my camera to London Drugs . They checked it out and declared it just needed a bit of setting up. Now it works fine and here I was hoping to buy a new one, but Ray was standing there and knew it was fine. Darn. Maybe I should stand on it.  LOL
We are on a bit of a budget and did not buy anything. Sigh!

But we did go to Tim's for coffee and a few Timbits or doughnut holes for those who do not understand TIM.
I was not feeling up to anything else and we came home. I went to lay down for a rest. It was good.
Sam called to ask us if we could meet him and Adam for breakfast tomorrow morning. That is great !! I am happy that we can get together .  Adam is in the air right now on his way from Louisiana.

Ray cooked up a salmon  side for dinner and it was so delicious.
He put lemon slices and onions on it , cooked it in foil in the oven. Where else would you cook a side of salmon ?
There is plenty left for tomorrow's dinner.

We just had salmon, nothing else.
Looks delicious doesn't it.

That was my day, I hope yours was good too.

It speaks for itself.

More kritters, chicken fritters. What are they all looking at, ah a worm. I had to change to picture to Xlarge to see that little bit of worm.

So tiny and precious. But his ears are pretty big LOL.

This is one neat quilt using maple leaf blocks.

Haha I love this cat and its sweater. At one point in my life I did knit up a doggie sweater.

That is my life today.
I hope you all have a wonderful evening.
Good night.

Must be a Canadian thing. Fries at the movies ? Popcorn yes, to this day never seen fries at the movies.
What did I say ? Just change the settings on the camera! Glad to hear your feeling better...
