sewing day

Happy Birthday Jim.
Jim is my fourth son.  I hat to say how old he is but he is moving through the fifties. LOL

Another lovely old block symmetrical in shape and design. I do like these old blocks that no one seems to know where they came from.
Answer.....The Past!

Tuesday is sewing day at the church so here are a couple of photos of the projects being worked on.

I think this one is Betty's

The gorgeous floral border on Betty Lu's centrepiece.

A better close up of her piece. I love these flowers.

And another of Betty's Dresden Plates.

My camera was no happy today so Helen too the pictures with hers and sent them to me. Isn't technology wonderful?

Oh and my phone has given up the ghost, it is a sad case so I guess I must buy a new one. I also wanted a new camera but Ray says I am really into spending. Not that I chose to have them both go at the same time.
We all had a good time . However I was so tired when I got up and it carried on for the morning until Pat drove me home after lunch and I had a nice nap. So the most I got done was to applique half a heart. I must fine something to do that excites me. Maybe I will get more done. LOL. But the best part of the group is the socializing.

After the nap all I did was read my Facebook and e mail.
Richard called and we had a chat about his trip down here when Peter moves back to the Vancouver area. Adam called while I was out and made a date for dinner tomorrow at Mr. Ho's.

I have been searching for a picture of Jim on my computer to no avail. I will have to take some when he visits.

This frog is not on a log but on the road to somewhere. I hope he has good boots LOL.

New coat , now he looks like a leopard haha.

Calgary, my friend Emma's cat Minou
Pretty isn't she just got back from the dentist having had an extraction .
So this is the day.
Have a great evening.
Good night.
