planes

Download now as a pdf pattern
One never knows when one will need an airplane. I did once at a guild meeting exchange.
Mine for a friend.

a plentiful listing of tutorials

This should keep you busy for a while.

We started to go out this afternoon only to discover the elevator was not working. Ray can walk down the flights to the garage but I cannot get down with my walker. If it becomes absolutely necessary I can go and rest between landings with Ray carrying the walker and I hanging onto the railing for security. We are on the third floor and have to go down those flights and then another one to the underground garage.   My legs are so shaky that I only go down the stairs if I have to. That may be tomorrow LOL. I cannot miss the grocery shopping on Saturday.
Back in the apartment I called the powers that be to let them know about the elevator. I don't know if they have gotten around to it but this being Friday makes it a good day for fixing since the weekend rates are large.

Then I looked at my computer but decided to sew. So  There were still three large 9 patch blocks in the envelope that needed to be sewn. Ray got out the ironing board so I could press them and I sewed them all up. They are ready now to take to Pumpkin Seeds on Tuesday.
At the guild I picked up two more packages  of star to sew together, I thought there was one pack of stars and a pack of just squares in a round but I guess they gave me the wrong one . Oh well I will get the square pack on Tuesday.
It was fun to do some sewing.  I have not done much sewing for some time so am getting back into it . I still need to get my Halloween piece together.  That is project for this coming week. Then I want to make another Halloween top.
Oh I said I would show the guild members quilts from Wednesday night.  Here we go. I don't remember the names of the quilters .
These trucks are for a grandson, delightful quilt to make a boy happy.

Pretty colours  in this quilt  to make a young lady happy.

Winter boys or as we call them snowmen .

Such a pretty garden behind this gate. I think the garden is a panel and the gate can be bought like this and just laid on and it sticks.

Lastly this novel clamshell quilt.
I seem to be running out of room and have had to take some items off .

So have a lovely evening folks.
Good night.
