a day after

On being 82, it feels the same as 81 LOL.  Only the print is smaller....LOL

We had a good day taking a few photos of the beautiful Japanese Cherry trees and the wonderful tulip trees or magnificent magnolias. We have a gorgeous landscape of ornamental trees in Vancouver. I count us fortunate to live here.

Can you imagine a school yard filled with these beautiful cherry trees?

I love this school yard. Every spring it bursts into bloom and glorifies the whole neighbourhood.

Beauty surrounds us.

A fabulous magnolia tree outside a restaurant and a hotel. Prosaic surroundings for a gorgeous tree. Blooms first ,leaves later.

This picture is so adorable, it looks like a good place to rest.

More kitties laying around, afternoon nap at the pet store. All the puppies were napping too.

Even babies are napping in the afternoon.

Picture gallery over for now.

All Ray and I did today was go up to Metrotown  and do our walking exercise. We did not shop but I had a coffee and we shared a lovely muffin.

That was it. We came home and I am blogging now. Downloaded my photos to add to my blog.

I really wanted to sew for a bit but it is getting too late now as I have to do some chopping for dinner. Or as I call it Slicing and Dicing. LOL. We are having all vegetables for dinner. Bok choy, onion, celery, mushrooms and whatever else I can find. It is all good.

That is all for today folks.

Have a great evening.

Good night.
