Visit with Sam and Adam

Another great visit today with Sam and Adam this time. We met at Ricky's restaurant for lunch and stayed for a long time. Sam is recovering from his surgery, still has the staples in. Not a lot of fun for him but he was brave and toughed it out. Adam is up here from Louisiana helping him out and cooking his dinners for him. It was great once again to see them both.

I had that lovely grilled cheese again. I think the ABC and Ricky's must be the same company as the sandwich is exactly the same. It cam with tomato soup, great combination. Thanks Adam for lunch. Next time we meet I will treat you to lunch and I hope it is this week that we can get together. If Sam is feeling okay we can do it again.

We went to the Langley casino after we had lunch. It was not a good experience . We have decided to not go to the casinos for a while. Quite a while.

It rained heavily for part of the day but the other part was just a gray day.

I talked to Richard when we got home but he had just come in from shopping for groceries with a friend. All the time the renovations were being done he was not able to do his big shopping so he got that one done today.

We did not get out regular shopping done today as you can see but tomorrow we do that job. We are out of a lot of things we need so that will be pretty necessary.

We watched a part of the movie Laura but had to stop for THE NEWS of course. I was sorry to miss it but think maybe I'll find a copy of it somewhere and see it again. It is a fascination black and white movie , film noir, I think you would call it. But such a good one.
