Visit from Peter

Good evening folks. How was your day all? I had a lovely day and did not go out at all.
My third son Peter came over and spent the afternoon with us. It was a great afternoon . I totally enjoyed his visit , so much so that I forgot to take his picture.  I am getting bad that way, too interested in what is going on and forgetting about the camera. Drat !  He was telling us about his new job and what they were paying him, pretty high wages but he is very good at what he does and worth the money I think. But then I am a mother and thinks all my sons are very worthy.

Ray and Peter at Peter's house where we went with Adam and Lisa for a barbecue. Peter is on the left.
After Peter left we just stayed in and watched awful TV.
Tonight I have been looking for pictures of Peter and since I have photos for years back it all takes time.

See this lovely quilt, I did not make it but continue to like it mostly because I love pink.

And this one is a Dear Jane block. I began to make Dear Jane's block when a small group of quilters started to make them. I had the CD and was able to get the blocks easily. Don't know where the CD disappeared to but it is gone. I made a number of the blocks and then the group all decided they did not like doing them. I felt the same was so we disbanded . I have a good number of them. Maybe I should make a table runner or something like that. I made this oen in 2011.

Granny Weaver is the name of this block.

Block of the Day

Download now as a pdf pattern
Farmer's Daughter is the name of this block.

Now look at this it looks like a cheese bagel at the end but as you can see it is a ball of yarn.
I love the colour, it will made great socks.

Blue glass with pictures of Shirley Temple. I wish I had some of these.

Two of our great grand daughters who live in Quebec.  They are enjoying their skating time it looks like.
More and Again Cathedral Windows. I cannot resist this pattern. This one is very nice.

Another Happy Easter egg story LOL. Actually not so happy for these particular eggs.

Cat on scanner.  It is probably warm and cats love warm.
