We are meeting with Mary, Albert and Rose for dinner at the Olive Garden in Langley. It will be fun and I'll write about it all later.
It is later and I wrote more on the blog , then lost the blog again. I wonder how that happens I never find it again. It irks me since I have to write it all over again. Alas alack.
We had about a half hour wait at the Olive Garden , not bad for that restaurant. When we came out the lobby and the outside benches were all full to overflowing, Those people must have had one to two hours wait. Honestly I don't think the food is that great for those long waits. But that is me. However I did enjoy the company of Mary and Albert and little Rose.
We all had salad which is usual for the Olive Garden and it is very good. I had a virgin Caesar this time. I love the taste but not the liquor.
I had lasagna for my entree and shared a piece of lemon cake with Ray. It was delicious.
Albert had a small chicken bone in his meal and brought it to the attention of the waitress who sent the manager over to see if all was okay. Good thing Rose did not get that piece of bone as she was eating from Albert's dinner. The manager took his entree off the bill and they gave him a new entree. Pretty nice but I guess they are unhappy with the chip of bone. It was a lovely visit with my grandchildren and great grandchild.
We saw this great white Harley Davidson outside Tim Horton's today after grocery shopping. The owner allowed me to take a picture of it. I think it is gorgeous.
Here's a pretty quilt made of Dresden Plates in different sizes. They look like flowers in the field. Speaking of flowers we saw a beautiful blue orchid in the store today. I should have taken a photo but was not thinking.
And another example of Dresden Plates but arranged in an organized fashion. Both quilts are very attractive.
My eyes are quite sore so I am closing off the blog for tonight. I hope you all have had a great evening.
Good night folks.
