Layercake Therapy  , make this lovely quilt out of layercakes.

Ray and I took a trip across town to visit with the butcher. We go there once in a while to buy really good hamburger with little extra fat. We also got Italian sausages, good real bacon and pork chops.  It was a good visit. I had planned on making a meat loaf when we got home . However I remembered that the dish I usually use for meatloaf broke the last time I used it. It just exploded on the stove. So tomorrow I will have to go and purchase a new one.

On the way home we stopped at our little local mall and met Marg there so she came home with us. I had a coffee there , Ray had nothing and we bought nothing too.

When we got home I had a nap. Really wanted to read my book but fell asleep instead. Oh well I'll read some more tonight. It is "Tell Me" one of the latest on the book shelves right now.

This is a nice way to use up your selvages, sew on the diagonal and cut into squares. Make a bag for carrying your books or whatever else.

Wrapped in truth. I feel the same way as he does.

A lesson in Churn Dash.

Pretty isn't it. Churn Dash is an old and well loved pattern . I like this treatment of it.

That's it for tonight folks.

Have a great evening.

Good night.
