We had a lovely day today. We met Sam and his mom Amy for lunch. Amy lives in Toronto and is here for the wedding of her niece. We had a good time eating and laughing and chatting.
I always enjoy Amy, she has a wonderful laugh.
I took a couple of pictures but they are not all that good. Too bad. I need to ask Sam if he has any and if he can send them to me.

I talked to Adam today, he and Lisa have been up in northern Louisiana on a trip. I wanted to know which month he and Lisa were coming uo here to go to Calgary. I thought it was June but it is July. Even so it will be great to see them.
Also talked to Richard and he was so happy. A friend has offered to take him to Italy all expenses paid! That's a friend.
So we came from our lunch with Sam and Amy and stopped in at the doctor because we could not get through on the phone. We wanted to make an appointment for after our tests.
Then we went to Safeway for bread. And that was it.
Have you ever seen a blue orchid ? It is gorgeous.
We came home . I had a nap and read some of my book. It is Tell Me and is one of those books that you don't want to put down.
