Happy Fourth of July

Download now as a pdf pattern

Happy Fourth of July to my American family and friends and if you are reading this tomorrow I hope it was a very happy day.

Another day in, as Ray is still sick. We had to call the pharmacist for something to help Ray with the vomiting. They delivered something very common for stomach sickness but right now I can't recall the name of it. He is still sleeping a lot and I think this second medicine is making him sleepy too. But at least he is no longer throwing up. Good thing since he has not eaten for a couple of days other than a very small amount of cold cereal this morning. I hope he gets better soon and is able to eat properly. I called the doctor's office to inform the office of his reaction to the Tramadol. It needs to go on his file. I let them know also that Tramadol has codeine in it. No matter how small the amount of codeine he cannot take any at all.
So because we were staying in I have been able to complete the blocks for the guild. No need to show them because they are all the same and I put the first one up on the blog. Now they have been bagged and are ready to go next Tuesday if I can get a ride to the church. Pat is away for the rest of the month so I need to see if Sharon can give me a ride. I hate to ask her. Maybe I can talk Ray into it. He hates to take me there as it is so far away, right across the city. So there you have it, two options for a ride. If neither works out I stay home :))
I also ironed some fabric readying it for use, then I pressed some freezer paper hearts onto squares of fabric. I still need to baste them down for applique. That isn't much work though as no accuracy is required.
Now I am taking a rest and writing some in my blog.
Back to the blog now that my laundry is almost done.
My Richard had a minor heart attack last night and was airlifted to Royal Jubilee Hospital in Victoria. I just spoke with him but he said talking exhausted him. That makes me think it might be more than just the one small artery in the back of his heart that he thinks it may be. He will have an angioplasty at 8:00 AM tomorrow . I worry about him these days. Life keeps kicking him in the pants, way too much. Ricky is there for him thank God. He is such a champ!

It's a hot day for the animals too. What is that one on the right I ask you? Watermelon goes over well with all kinds of animals.

Naughty kitty LOL.

Such a clever quilter. Look at those bolts of fabric in her beautiful red  convertible. I'd like to have that car .
Wow this is a heart quilt. Such a clever design. My heart quilts are just so ordinary. But I'll show you one anyway. Get ready for ordinary.
But red!

A beautiful pink pansy, not your usual colour for a pansy.

Time to go folks It has been a pressure day for me lots to do, Ray still sick and Richard in the hospital.
Have a good evening.
Good night.
