Sawtooth Star an oldie and easy star to make. The only other star that is even easier is the Friendship Star.

Squares and half square triangles. See easy.

Lots of great patterns at RJR as usual. I am sure you will find something you want to make here.  Or dream about making. I dream about making the dress form. Why I have no idea since I do not make dresses. I think I remember one of these forms at an aunt's home when I was quite young. Marg may remember even though she was even younger. She spent time at Auntie Grace's home.

We had a fine time with our granddaughter Chelsea and Daughter in Law Caroline.  We met at Tim's for a coffee and in our case a bagel and great conversation. We were there quite a long time chatting about our lives. Chelsea lives in Toronto now so she is home for such a short time. She has to get back to work next week so will be leaving at the end of the week. However it was great  to see them both.  By the way Chelsea is Matthew's daughter and Caroline is his wife.
Chelsea and me.

Chelsea and Caroline, Mother and Daughter.
It was a wonderful visit.

Then Ray and I had to go and pick up the mail which is being held in a storage facility because of the fire. Our mail should soon be going to Marg's since we paid  for a change of  address. I thought it would be going there already.

After that of course we had to go for bread. It seems to me we go every day for bread. Ray does not like the bread when it is either frozen or stale. Stale I get but frozen?

And here is another cat takeover.

The dog needs to get in bed with the cat but that could cause war and I think the cat would win. Nice bed. Too bad the dog will never get to sleep in it.

More stars carrying on with tonight's theme. Lots of colours and fabrics in this one, it can truly be called a scrap quilt.

Hi there Darth, I like your new uniform.

Charlotte experiments, a scientist in the making!
Squares in squares , it looks lovely doesn't it. Lots of scraps can be used in this one.

And finally two wonderful mug rugs. These little quilts are really getting very popular nowadays.
