Breaking news is that Grandma's building had a fire today. It looks like it started in a unit close to hers, (UPDATE: Her apartment is in the shape of an L. This was the opposite wing thank god! Similar location, just on the other wing. Apparently 8 units were burnt out :( ) so we don't know what the condition of her condo is.
We are having a hard time getting ahold of her right now. We are attempting to get Sam on the horn to see if he's heard from them. Hopefully they reached out. Due to the fire, she will not likely be making a blog post tonight, and will be in a hotel (provided by emergency Red Cross services I hope). (UPDATE: She and Grandpa Ray have been located in a Holiday Inn Express on Hastings St, complements of the City of Vancouver, including meals They will return home tomorrow.)

Dad (Richard) is okay. He's staying with me and recovering well. We went out to downtown Victoria today, which is why we only heard about the fire once we got home :( But! Here we are on the Legislature lawn.
I will update about Grandma as I get more information
