The latest schoolhouse block.
Block 11 if you are waiting. The house of the Friendship Star.

Ray had to go to the doctor this morning. His back was so bad and he was in great pain. I rubbed his back with Myoflex and he took some tylenol. That got him to the doctor's office. She gave him a prescription for something a bit stronger. It does make him a bit dozy, he is snoozing right now. She did say thought that the pain would subside and he would get better. Thanks goodness.
We went to fill the prescription and I mailed my parcel to Linda in Oregon. It is my bingo fat quarters for the next bingo game. So that job is done and I am ready to go next week when the game begins.

Rick and Ricky are still sailing the open seas. I really don't know if it is the open seas but it sounds good LOL. I am glad he is enjoying himself. He has to do it now while he can. Thank God for Ricky who has basically given up his life to help his dad. But I know he too loves to sail so maybe it isn't too bad for him.
As you can see it is Tuesday and I did not go sewing as I needed to take care of Ray. Not much stops me from going to my groups but this is a deal breaker.
A foiled terrorist attempt  that included an IED   took place yesterday on Canada Day. Two people were arrested , a man and a woman. They were attempting to set off the bomb on the grounds of the legislature which was crowded with merrymakers celebrating the national holiday. Why any one would even think of such a thing in this glorious country is beyond me. We have it all here.
Fortunately the RCMP caught up with the two people and
disabled the IED.

Charlotte in her pool in Alberta. This is the Charlotte section.

On her holiday...
Happy face, what a smile!

Hey look at me folks. She sure is having fun. that's mom behind her, in the hat.

These guys look cozy. When we live in Halifax we had a white cat who had three kittens. One was white , one was ginger and one was black. The ginger one was actually beige , he was the biggest kitten and the most beautiful. These kitties remind me of those long ago kittens. That was in 1960.

A little philosophy. I love this one , that duck/goose is a winner!

These colours are so beautiful . I love this picture even though I would never sit on the beach, I burn far too easily  and I don't swim. Some days though we do go down to the river for a few hours. There are lots of trees there so much shade and I don't need to sit in the sun. Maybe we can do that tomorrow. Ray said the pills are helping him. And we want to go to the hospital to see Bob. I'll talk to Buzz later tonight to see how he is. So it will be a full day.

Remember this show with Mr. Wilson not the dog. This made me laugh so it oges on my blog.

Not much in the way of quilting today, I'll check in my picture files for a good quilt picture to end the day,

And you get a table runner too.
Have a great evening folks.
Good night.
