Lost in the wilderness of the internet

Hmm I thought I had begun my blog but it has disappeared. And I think that the Block of the Day has been deleted from my e mail. I'll have to take a look in the deleted file to see if It can be located.  Off to do that now.

Download now as a pdf pattern
Or, download the block

Spring Flower, a bit out of season but there it is. The Block of the Day.
Aha I found it all and it was so easy. The paste was still there and I had the picture in my files. Whew!

Bob called today to say he was home from the hospital and was tired so the call was short. I'm glad all is well for him.
Ray is feeling a lot better , not fully well yet but soon he will be fine.
Richard had a heart attack and had to have three angioplasties. It has been so difficult for him. But the procedure went well and he will be on his way back to the boat tonight. I called but he was tired and said he would call me tonight but not to worry.

My friend Gail in Arizona is still in the hospital and her left side is paralyzed. She has been so sick and does not seem to be getting any better. She has to have some brain surgery to relieve pressure on her brain. It has not been a very good week for health issues of my family and friends. But it is now better since most of them are on the mend except Gail.
This is Gail in better days when she was sewing up a storm. Ray and I were visiting she and David. Gail and I spent the day in her sewing room. In this picture she is embroidering on her Brother machine. She gave me the desire to machine embroider.  I thank her for that and for her enduring friendship while she was able to give it. I pray that she may recover .
Once again I did not get out but Ray did. He went to Safeway for bread, picked up chicken and bean salad for dinner. Plus ice cream bars for dessert.  Oh my lazy it is since the weather has been hot. It is cooling down now though.
I talked to Jim today , Peter and Judith are going to Jim's acreage
for a camping visit. Jim's idea of camping is electricity, water, cablevision and any other  convenience you may need. He puts it all in his campground. Amazing man , very clever.
Jim in his living room LOL.

Margaret came over with chicken soup for dinner and for a visit.
I had a book for her but forgot to tell her I did not finish it. It was Guilty Wives by James Patterson and some other writer I don't recall. Patterson has taken to doing this for a while and I am not happy with his performance. I hope Marg likes better than I did.
David Ellis is the name of the second writer along with Patterson.

......time for dogs and other things

Is this a giant dog or a small horse. Nah horses don't sit on the couch. It must be a dog but boy is he big!!
It is not a dog but quilts on a line. How nice and homey is that. It reminds me of Pennsylvania where the Amish hang their quilts for sale on the porch railing. I love that.

Our beloved Charlotte having fun in the pool in Alberta. She is enjoying her holiday. I wonder how the wedding went and how Charlotte liked being a flower girl.
Ruby , my niece's dog, she has another one like it too and her name is Freddie. They take the dogs camping with them.  You meet lots of people that way.
Now that's a mouthful LOL.
That's it for tonight.
Have a lovely evening. It is beautiful here and I hope the same wherever you are.
Good night.
