What a beautiful Jack O'Lantern, sorry but I have no pattern for that.

More cushions of sorts.
Acushion with an apron as the cover. I could not locate the pattern but an apron should be easy to replicate. Haha again.

Doesn't this cartoon remind you of All Day Suckers taht we used to buy when we were young. I remember buying one of these at the entrance to Stanley Park and catching the street car home or if I spent my transfer money would look for a recent transfer that someone had thrown away or I would walk home and it was miles and miles. All Day Suckers were worth it LOL.
Our day went well. Mine anyway. Sharon picked me up to go to our sewing group. It was great fun , a few quilts were exhibited, we sewed by hand, read magazines and books and ate lunch. A good day and Helen brought me all the way home . That was a long drive for her. Thank you so much Helen. I just continued to make my appliqued hearts. Same old same old. Haha.
When I got home Ray and Rick were watching Mutiny on the Bounty, it was at the end of the movie so I missed it all. Too bad :))
Then I had a nap, no good sleep last night , the usual thing on a Monday night because I know I have to get up earlier than normal.
No one wanted dinner so no cooking for me. But Rick and I ate some noodles for dinner.
That was it.
Baby quilts
These are called rick rack quilts. The one on the upper left is just a lovely quilt of 30s fabrics and rick rack along all the seam lines. Too bad the picture is so small because it is a lovely quilt. I had this one in my files somewhere but can't find them on the laptop.
However I am starting to remember how it went. the blocks were stripes of 30s fabrics set on the diagonal and ric rac sewn on each seam. It was delightful.
This little clock was made for me by my dear friend Gail who is very ill and is in hospital in Arizona where she lives.
I don't know what happened but here is yesterday's blog.
