nurse came late

The nurse came quite late today, around 11:00 .  The dressing needed to be changed which takes about 30 minutes And then the antibiotic had to be administered which took another 30 minutes.By the time the clean up was done it was well after 12:00.  We went for lund at Tops and had a half hot corned beef sandwich and a salad each. It was a very good lunch. Then we had to go to Safeway to pick up some prescriptions. As we were coming out  Ray asked me where I wanted to go. I said I want to go to the casino. I just did not want to sit around all afternoon with my computer. We went downtown to the Edgewater Casino. Here is the site of the casino.

 I like that one, there were new machines there today. We haven't been for a while. Ray was lucky and I was not but he shared some of his winnings with me and still came home with cash.  While we were there we ran into some friends and had a little visit. It was great to see them.
It was nearly 7:00 when we got home so I am rather late with the blog tonight. 
And I did not find any good sites for you to look at, nor any bad ones either LOL, it takes time to search for them. Another day!!

It seems that quilters are working on their UFOs,some have lots of them but choose to do a couple, not all. I have a couple of UFOs and will get them all done when I get back to sewing.  I really want to start  an embroidered quilt for Charlotte, it's about time. She'll be walking by the time she gets it and then there is one to do for Mary's baby. Maybe I'll let the UFOs slide LOL.

There isn't she adorable. Maybe I can talk Ray into going to the quilt shop tomorrow for background fabric.

One of these days I want to make a Drunkard's Path quilt. I bought the templates quite a few years ago and can't find them anywhere. Where do these things disappear to, I must have some gremlins in my house that makes off with my precious things LOL.
