away and away

Ray talked to  his sister Gerry in Thunder Bay. Marion's prognosis is not very good -barring a miracle. She wants Ray to come to Winnipeg but no one seems to understand that he can't really leave me alone as I am still not able to take care of myself, Ray needs to prepare my meals and help me when my legs give out. I am trying to think of ways he could go to see his sister. I know there is respite care but wonder if it has to be spoken for in advance. I guess they think because I am home I   am fine.

Margaret  called this morning to ask if we were going tot he casino. We hadn't intended to but we relunctantly LOL agreed to take her.
We all had a good time sometimes winning and sometimes losing, but we all came home with money. We  had a small lunch at the cafe.
This is a really nice block, it came from About Quilting. I could not get the PDF . If you would like to make it you can go to the site and download the instructions from there. Lots of great things on that site including puzzles and quizzes.  It is a fun place to look around in.
A bit of philosophy . To burn a bridge requires great courage as you can never go back, you have to know that you don't ever want to go back.  No shilly shallying.
Everybody wants a goodie so step up to the plate little guy behind the box. And the tiny guy in front needs a big boost :)))

He was looking in my window and I was looking in his, cute little guy.
Time out folks.
Have a lovely evening.
