doctor today

Both Ray and I had to see the new doctor today, late in the day, 5:30 so traffic was active LOL.
She needed to see Ray about his spinal stenosis and agreed to make an appointment with Dr. Honey whom we know so hopefully it speed up the process of getting an appointment . He is in a lot of pain in his leg.
She wanted to see me about the infection that I have in my, well it is a UTF and she wanted to give me more antibiotic which as we well know pills are useless with this infection. It has to be intra venous and every day, I suggested that she call Dr. Vortel the specialist I have been seeing for the infection and he would explain to her what we have to do. If anything. That infection cannot be killed and so we just monitor it. I am feeling fine and no symptoms right now so as fas as I am concerned all is well.
The laptop had to go back this morning and is spending the night there . Clay assures me that it will be fixed by morning.
However I am going to call him, already did twice but no answer. We are going to an overnight in Washingtom state tomorrow morning and we always leave early . This time we have to re - something with our Nexus passes which allows us preferential treatment getting through the border. We won't be renewing the just updating them as both of us have had birthdays in the past 4 months.
We went to Walmart for a walk haha. I wanted some of those pads for removing nail polish. There were only three boxes of them left on the shelf so  I took all three.  I like those pads as they are very convenient , I'll put one in my cosmetic bag. They are easy to carry as they are enclosed .
We went to TOPS for a good dinner and we had a good one. Salisbury steak with potatoes and gravy as well as beautifully done vegetables. And I had the salad with the wonderful house dressing. It is green so I am guessing that it is a form of cucumber dressing.

When we came home I wanted to use my computer but it would not work. What is this about these darned machines. We had to take out one of the cables , count to ten and put it back in. This is the second time for that little problem. Ray knew what to do as he is good that way.
We finally got on and were able to make our booking. Then we had to print the page with the confirmation number. Guess what!!!!
The printer just kept eating up the paper and gumming up the works. One of the twisted papers had the number on it so I'll just copy it down in my note book. HA! back to the old ways which work!!!
That was the day!! I am tired and it is 9:00 , almost time for bed.
FYI There will be no blog tomorrow night as we are not at home and neither is the laptop. So I'll miss out on the blog. No Worries Folks.

Haha did this kid get the message that he asks for too much. I don't think so. :))

What a nice place to rest! And How about those baby shoes. When my sister was about a year old during the Big Depression 1938 my mom and dad bought her her first pair of shoes and that was a big item for them as money was so tight that some nights all they had for dinner was tea and probably a cookie , they fed us kids but not themselves. Well those precious shoes were put somewhere for the night and in the morning one of them was gone. My mom was distressed to say the least. We lived in  an apartment above the store and there were rats in the building and one of them took the shoe. We didn't stay very long in that place.
So It is time for me to go to bed. I know it is late for most of you so I hope you had a good evening.
Good evening!!
