I won :))

Good evening folks.
Ray and I went to the casino today. I was winning, not much but enough to play for a few hours and come home with more money than I started with and with half of my original money too so I count this day as a success.

We went to the new Lowes. The people there were incredibly polite and pleasant. They must have good classes on how to treat the buying public.  Huge store and many products to purchase. I think walking the whole store  would be fine exercise LOL
We had a beautiful day today, sunny skies, warm temperature. It was the kind of day whne you want to point the car down the highway and let it take you wherever it wants to go. I love that feeling. Of course we don't do such an irresponsible thing LOL.

We generally do not go to AandW because I had a bad experience there a few yeas ago when I got sick from a hamburger. But we went there today and believe me it will be another 5 years before I go again if ever. The hamburger patty in the bun was so dry and ugly  and the and there was just a scrape of mustard for a garnish.. I don't understand. Differents A and W too. I guess they are all the same. They advertise so heavily you would think that the product would be edible. NOT!!
This is a picture of an A and W burger and ours did not look like this.

Margaret called this afternoon. We hadn't heard from her for a while and I thought she had gone away. She has talked about  going to Palm Springs and that's where I thought she was. Apparently that trip takes place later in April.
No sewing today, my eyes are too sore for such precise work. I was hoping to get the last row done on the girls. Next week perhaps after I see the eye specialist.
Ray is a survivor but the rest of his family, father, sister and brother are not and Marion will not be with us much longer. Cancer has touched us all I believe.

I am into philosophy tonight.  So by all means Smile. Good for you and good for whomever receives your smile.
A simple touch of beauty should bring a smile to your lips. :)) I would so love to see a cart like this full of blossoms. Flowers always make me happy
Follow this quilter's  journey with her grandmother's life in the early part of the 20th century . It is very interesting and has many quilt blocks to make. I love this sunflower block.
There my mind is empty for the night. Have a lovely evening.
Guten abend.
